What is a cladogram?
A cladogram is a branching diagram used to show the cladistic relationship between a species. With a cladogram, it is easy to see the connections between types of organisms and how they are related to each other.
EXAMPLES:
OUR CLADOGRAM:
For our cladogram project. We were given the task to create a cladogram using hardware parts as "species". We classified them based on the features they shared, created clatogram based on their classification, and wrote a story speculating as to how their features developed.
While the story of our evolution is too long to tell here, it explains the evolution of every species on our cladogram. It also includes the classification and scientific name of each.

REFLECTION:
Overall, I think we did great with this project. Of course, some things went wrong, but we ended up with a good result. One of our major problems was the cladogram. Misunderstanding the directions, we made the lay out all wrong. It actually happened twice. We had to start from scratch all over again. However, we still finished with plenty of time. One other problem that we faced was the long and tedious process of classifying every piece of hardware. We got it done by separating the work between all 4 of us. It worked out pretty well. As a group, I think we worked together pretty nicely. The final result was a fully finished cladogram, classification sheet and evolutionary story. All as planned.
